A LITTLE MORE ROOM
£400 one-off build
More room for your story, services or work, without making one page too long. We choose the pages that make it easiest for customers to find what they need.
Both packages include everything below. Domain registration and any optional email subscription are paid separately, directly to your supplier.
INCLUDED IN BOTH PACKAGES
Tell me about your business and I’ll prepare draft wording for you to review. If you already have copy, we can start with that. We work together until it sounds like you.
Your branding, services and photographs guide the look. We agree the page content and images together, and I make the layout work on phones, tablets and computers.
You can request three rounds of major changes before launch, within our agreed brief. Each round is one grouped list of feedback, so we can review the whole design together.
I connect your domain, set up hosting and configure the enquiry form. With your help, I check that the domain opens the website, test a form submission and confirm it reaches your inbox.
I give each page a clear title and search description, organise its headings and links, and add descriptive image text. I shape the wording around your services and the places you work, so search engines and customers can understand what you offer.
This on-page search optimisation is included in both packages. Search engines decide what appears and where it ranks; ongoing SEO campaigns and paid advertising are not included.
Your domain and hosting accounts belong to you. I guide you through giving me access, then handle the technical setup.
CHANGES & AFTERCARE
Three rounds of major revisions are included. Send your changes together in each round, whether that is wording, images or layout within the agreed brief. You review the website before it goes live.
One further full edit round is included, requested within 30 days of going live. You can review all your existing pages and send one combined list of wording, image and layout adjustments within the original scope.
After the first 30 days, or once your included changes are used, a straightforward change costs £30. Examples include updating a piece of wording or replacing a photograph. I confirm what the £30 covers before starting.
For more involved work, extra pages, new features or a full redesign, I give you a separate quote before doing anything. You can decide whether to go ahead.
You send changes to me and I update the website. These packages do not include a customer editing dashboard or an ongoing maintenance subscription.
ONGOING COSTS
Free plans have limits and suppliers can change their prices. I explain the current costs before we start. If your needs grow beyond a free plan, we discuss the options first.
OPTIONAL BUSINESS EMAIL
£30 one-off setup
Plus around £15 a year paid directly to the email supplier for a basic mailbox. The exact price, taxes and renewal terms are confirmed before you subscribe.
An address such as [email protected] lets you send and receive email using your business’s domain.
That is absolutely fine. You can keep using the address you give me, such as your existing Gmail or Outlook address. Connecting your website enquiry form to it is included in the build, with no business email setup fee.
Business email is an optional extra, not a requirement for a professional website.
The setup fee covers connecting your domain to the agreed mailbox service and testing sending and receiving. Moving an existing email archive or setting up several mailboxes is quoted separately.
Tell me what you do and what customers need to find. I’ll recommend the simplest option that works for you. Online shops, payment systems, customer logins and specialist features need a separate discussion and quote.
